5 URLs Plus Address

This mod is depreciated in favour of using the +5 URL mod along with the business address mod, both of which can be found in this forum.

The attached ZIP archive contains a patch to allow each listing to have an additional 5 URLs with titles, 2 address lines, county, country, postcode, contact name and phone number.

The extra information is shown on each listings detail page.

To use:
  • Backup any existing data you want to keep including the database.
  • Upload the 3 files from the archive, index.php, addext.php and wdadminext.php, to the folder holding the installed directory script.
  • Use your browser to access addext.php, e.g.
  • Delete addext.php from your server.
  • Edit wdcfg.php and change WDALLWODETAIL and WDALLOWDETAILSUBMIT to:
    define('WDALLOWDETAIL', 1);
  • Edit the template file t!wddetail.html to include the tags for the additional fields: {$extPages}, {$address1}, {$address2}, {$county}, {$country}, {$postcode}, {$contact}, {$postcode}
    {$extPages} is an unordered list of the additional links.
index.php a replacement for the default index file, this extends the base classes to allow for the submission, modification and display of the additional fields.

wdadminext.php a extension used by the admin interface to allow editing and review of listings with the additional fields.

addext.php a script to add a new table to the database and create rows for all existing listings.

This mod could be used as the basis for a business directory.

Additional fields can be added by editing the 3 files although care must be taken to keep the MySQL of all 3 in sync.

Where do the extra fields show up in admin? I can't locate them. Also, which part of the two part form can you place the fields. I see where you call for the web url, but the other fields don't show up here, they are on second part of the form. Can this arrangement be modified?

When you review a submission, add a new listing or edit an existing submission from the admin interface you should see the additional fields. If this is not the case please try uploading wdadminext.php from the archive again and ensure that it is present in the same folder as wdcfg.php.

If this still doesn't work then check the values of WDALLOWDETAIL and WDALLOWDETAILSUBMIT in wdcfg.php

For a submission the script always asks for the URL first followed by all the other information, without rewriting the entire submission system you can't change this.
